Auburn SimFlight had a great experience with Precision Flight Controls. We bought a DCX
MAX AATD Flight Training System. It was shipped to us in an impressive, packaged crate. I
personally spoke with Doug in their shipping who could not have been more experienced and
professional in what he was doing. I explained that the dimensions would not fit in our storage
area due to the height. He came up with a way for us to remove the crates exterior that gave us
the clearance we needed to secure it in an air-conditioned enclosure. He went out of his way to
circle the screws that would need to come out and provided me with instructions on how to
dismantle the outside easily. This is a massive structure that has been protected and secured with
great care. Having his guidance and the attention to detail that he provided made it easy for us to
dismantle and store safely. We would rate their shipping department with an A+.

Ivan from their company flew out and wasted no time on assessing our situation. We had the
simulator stored downstairs and had to get it to the second floor. He came up with a plan in short
order and began to disassemble the simulator. We had plenty of people available to take parts
upstairs and help hold items that needed to be unscrewed and removed and with his direction it
went very smoothly. We carried the larger pieces upstairs with help from several individuals.
Once upstairs he assembled it in the same way he broke it down. He provided training after that
and was also very knowledgeable and professional. We would rate their installation and training
as an A+ as well.

Currently I have a full set of PFC C2 Pro, Avionics Enhanced Edition and GA Rudder. The PFC simulators are very innovative products. Its accurate controls and durability are on point, especially the compatibility of the board for different softwares and full wide array of options for upgrades. The flawless design are very intuitive which makes it beautiful and elegant. Before i had my PFC, I came from regular plastic built simulators then moved to DIY sims then to some other competing products, but PFC have the best well built overall. I am also amazed on how the tech support team is very knowledgeable of the product. The parts are always readily available and shipped quick, the phone support is very helpful and the response is very quick, Bart is very on point on doing the diagnostic on my PFC over the phone and makes a an accurate solution on a problem. For the past year, we have researched general aviation flight simulator manufacturers. Due to the expense of purchasing an AATD, we were looking for the best pricing available that would provide as much realism as possible. We found that Precision Flight Controls provided the best options. Our Precision Flight Controls’ DCX MAX is the closest general aviation simulator compared to the other manufacturers that meet AATD requirements that we considered. As a retired airline pilot, I found that the fidelity and realism were as good as, and in many cases better than, the level D simulators I had used at the airlines.

As our company continues to grow, and with our DCX MAX AATD usage expanding, we are planning to purchase a second simulator when the time comes.

The Medallion Foundation maintains a fleet of Precision Flight Controls’ simulators at ten locations throughout the state of Alaska. The simulators are made available to operators under the direction of the Medallion Foundation Star and Shield program.
