Our Cirrus yokes are cast aluminum with a beautiful durable powder-coated finish and housed into a steel powder-coated chassis. The yoke movement is driven by a 2 axis precision control loading system that ensures a smooth and realistic feel throughout the control movement. The movement is controlled by hall effect sensors to ensure the highest control resolution and reliability. The yoke has six programmable switches.

Our manufacturing capabilities start from the ground up, from concept design, firmware and software engineering to integration, testing, and production. All components are manufactured to aviation standards and above, From our components and avionics to our open cockpit systems such as the CRX or GTX, to our DCX MAX and Modular Flight Deck (MFD) closed cockpit systems. We pride ourselves in expanding the possibilities of what is possible in general aviation flight simulation to create innovative products.

The Medallion Foundation maintains a fleet of Precision Flight Controls’ simulators at ten locations throughout the state of Alaska. The simulators are made available to operators under the direction of the Medallion Foundation Star and Shield program. These systems are mainly used by members of the Alaska Air Carriers Association (AACA) for accident prevention training (CFIT), by CFI’s for flight training, and by private and commercial pilots for instrument proficiency and currency. According to Medallion’s Simulator Manager, Glen Morthorpe, “Precision Flight Controls’ simulators were chosen because of their exceptional affordability and reliability. For the past year, we have researched general aviation flight simulator manufacturers. Due to the expense of purchasing an AATD, we were looking for the best pricing available that would provide as much realism as possible. We found that Precision Flight Controls provided the best options. Our Precision Flight Controls’ DCX MAX is the closest general aviation simulator compared to the other manufacturers that meet AATD requirements that we considered. As a retired airline pilot, I found that the fidelity and realism were as good as, and in many cases better than, the level D simulators I had used at the airlines.
