MFD Caravan

Introducing the newest enhancement to our Caravan AATD: 6DOF Motion.

This advanced motion system adds a new level of realism, fidelity, and training value by allowing pilots to experience more accurate aircraft movement, dynamic flight cues, runway effects, turbulence, and overall aircraft response. The result is a more immersive and operationally relevant training environment that better represents real-world Caravan flight operations.

This is not your typical AATD.

Our Cessna Caravan AATD is engineered with a level of functionality, fidelity, and system depth normally associated with higher-level Flight Training Devices. It provides type-specific cockpit layout, realistic avionics operation, representative aircraft systems, control loading, enhanced visuals, and optional 6DOF motion to create a much more capable and operationally relevant training environment than a conventional AATD. While certified as an AATD, the device is designed to deliver many of the training features and functional capabilities operators expect from a higher-level FTD—without the same certification burden, site-specific qualification process, or ownership cost.

Owning your own Cessna Caravan AATD can save significant time and money by bringing advanced training directly to your facility.

Instead of sending pilots off-site, paying for travel, hotels, airline tickets, rental cars, instructor scheduling, and simulator time at another training center, operators can conduct recurrent training, instrument procedures, emergency procedures, systems training, and proficiency checks in-house. With your own Caravan simulator, training can be scheduled around your operation—not someone else’s calendar. Pilots can practice more often, address weak areas immediately, and repeat critical procedures without burning fuel, adding aircraft hours, increasing maintenance costs, or taking the actual aircraft out of service.

The result is lower training cost, less downtime, better pilot proficiency, and a safer, more efficient operation.

This is why owning a Cessna Caravan AATD can make a strong business case. Every hour spent practicing IFR procedures, emergencies, avionics training, engine failures, abnormal procedures, approaches, weather scenarios, and recurrent training in the simulator can reduce aircraft operating cost, aircraft downtime, fuel burn, maintenance exposure, and scheduling conflicts.

With real Caravan operating costs often exceeding $1,000 per flight hour, owning your own Caravan AATD allows operators to conduct high-value training in-house without burning fuel, adding aircraft hours, increasing maintenance costs, or taking the aircraft out of service. The simulator gives pilots the ability to repeat procedures, practice emergencies, and maintain proficiency at a fraction of the cost of using the actual aircraft.
